The Israel Center for Negotiation and Mediation (ICNM)
"The Israel Center for Negotiation and Conflict Management" was created by Yona Shamir in 1996 at the Samuel Neaman Institute, Technion, Haifa. On January 2000, the center became an independent organization, and changed its name to "The Israel Center for Negotiation and Mediation (ICNM)" and is directed by Yona Shamir. The center excels in training and consulting in negotiation, mediation and conflict management. It is recognized as the senior organization dealing with these issues in Israel.
Mission
ICNM is committed to improve the social culture of dealing with conflict in Israeli society, through the improvement of conflict resolution skills in the areas of negotiation, mediation, facilitation and cooperative decision making - in the public and private sectors in Israel and the region. The approach is comprehensive and includes training, seminars, conferences, and consulting in the fields of public administration, business and concern for the environment.
